Over to Thousand Trails Batesville, Indiana

Got up around 0830 this morning, then went in the Malibu to check out our route to the Cheesecake Factory restaurant, then back to the motor home to hook up, and then head to the mall. We shopped around until 11, then met up with Meghan Stubbs, a former student from Newberry, her mom , and her friend Gabe. Had a terrific brunch at the Cheesecake Factory, forgot to take pictures!!

Then about 1245, headed on over here to Batesburg Indiana. Just a short trip today, 47.7 miles on over, primarily on I-74. We averaged 49.2 mph on the way over, and it was 58 minutes and 13 seconds for the trip. High speed was 64.4 mph. We have a nice site in section 4 of the park, a level gravel site, out in a field, air card is good, SAT is good, water pressure is good, volts at the box are good. We are not on top of neighbors at our spot. We both took showers, since we've been boondocking for two days without water, and are pretty ripe...... We are meeting Paul and Jenn Gable at 5 or so for dinner tonight somewhere in town.....

No big plans for tomorrow, Nappanee is about 200 miles away, through Indianapolis. Thinking about stopping by the speedway to get pin and visit.

Weather has been absolutely beautiful today, High about 75, very low humidity, and a nice breeze blowing. Hope the weather holds up for the rest of the week. By now they usually have had their first freeze, the locals say. The leaves are just now beginning to turn around, no real color just yet.

Talked to Cooper today, they are on their way home from the beach.
