While we were at the Studebaker Museum, they suggested that we go to the Studebaker Mansion, now called Tippecanoe Place, for lunch, and gave us a coupon for $4.oo off. The mansion which is on 7 levels, 4 of which are open to the public for dining, is a magnificent example of the craftsmanship and wordworking of houses built in the 1880's. The house took three years to build, and has 40 rooms. The woodwork inside is incredible. Lots of millwork, crown moulding, marble fireplaces, trey ceilings, etc. Must have had a staff of many!!!!Had a decent lunch, Bette had a French Dip Roast Beef, and I had a Club Wrap and soup.
