Breakfast this mornign at McDonald's after I passed my inspection at the eye doctor's. My eye, however, has been really bothering me all day. I suspect I slept with my thumb in my eye or something.... Still hurts late this afternoon.

Typical of our travel day. It was misty, rainy, overcast, but never bad enough to impede progress. The high today was 79 observed, it's supposed to be in the low 60's tonight.

Here's my vote for strange sight of the day- It was a fair sized airplane headed up the road, wingless, tailless, and on the way to being repaired or scrapped, I guess.

This is an older shrine on I-26, south of Duncan. The inscriptions on the crosses are Dad, Mom, and Son, I believe. Shot is out of focus, sorry.

We're at Berea, KY, on the back row of the WalMart. We're going to get up in the morning and do some Berea things, then head up to Cincinnatti Ohio. We're a full day ahead of schedule.
