Mr Bill is back today dilligently working on the liner installation. He put a vaccum device to suck out the air bubbles in the liner, pretty cool way of doing it. Must be an old pool man's trick. Here, Brandon and Mr Bill are finishing the trim around the step area, and reinstalling some trim that was never properly installed when the pool was built, which was causing some leaks, and contributing to our concrete lining failures.
Mr Bill then began to fill the pool, and of course that was a sign for Brandon and Cooper to jump right in and make up pool games, since it's almost 80 degrees outside today. So for the last couple of hours they have exercised themselves silly while the pool is filling up.
Spent over 5 hours today circulating between the storage building junk and the house storage building junk and the garage junk, trying to get a handle on what may be transferred to Florida. What started out as a couple of boxes has now grown to about 5000 lbs of assorted can't live withouts, and Bette's glass shop and whatever else shop she has.
We are negotiating with an old couple about purchasing the contents of the outside storage building, and of course she wants to pay maybe pennies on the dollar since she is poorer than dirt.
I am maintaining that we ought to have the Florida garage set up first, rather than moving the contents of a 14 foot truck down to go through the dance all over again. I told Bette, what we ought to do is move it all to Florida, then set up shop in the big flea market that is a mile from the house and become junk dealers. What we should do of course, is load it all up and take it to the dump.
Already, we put out lots of stuff and put it curbside for Monday pick up and the local scavengers have already gone through it and helped themselves. Guess we're helping the economy...... Oh well, we'll see.
