Rainy recovery

Last night was the worst night so far for the nose operation recovery. I had refrained from taking any pain meds, but this morning I broke down, and Bette was nice enough to get the scrip filled, plus for an antibiotic, so as of this minute, feeling better by not feeling anything. Doc said it should be two week recovery, which I thought was going to be a non-recovery. Should have paid attention.

In my spare time, been planning the big trip coming up- loosely, it turns out, but I think we've got the general idea laid out fairly well. With Sherry's invitation to Missouri, we will be there for up to two weeks in the first part of January, then come home, get the last of busywork things attended to, get the taxes in, and then start out. Very much looking forward to the Missouri visit, maybe we can talk Bill and Pat and Danny to join us for a mini-reunion.

Today is our traveling pal Dan Kingston's birthday- Shout out to you old buddy- They are in Berlin, Ohio today, and will be in the West Point area next week, then I think work their way down our way for the winter.

Here's the "unofficial" Cooper soccer shot for this year. They had their last game last night, and I think tied, 1-1. Now, we'll do Upward Basketball.

The Hornets play McCormick tonight, think I'll be staying in due to the weather and how I'm feeling. Should be a win.
