Tracy joined us for a visit this afternoon, flying in to Greenville/Spartanburg from Newark. Cooper, Tina and I went to fetch her. She was originally scheduled to come into Columbia, but sadly there was a fatal aircrash there late last night, and the airport was closed for her planed flight this morning.
On another note, Ware Shoals lost to Emerald 22-16 on Friday night, so now we are 1-3 on the season. This is our worst record in several years, due to our injuries, and our tough schedule. We are still holding out for region to start, and we still plan to be playing for the state championship in December. We have Abbeville next week, so we may very well be at 1-4 after next week.
Bette continues to be very sick. I spoke to her twice today, and she was just not feeling well at all. So we let her sleep.
I also learned Friday after a Doctor visit that now I most probably will be facing back surgery also. I've been having real problems with back and leg pain recently, so I have an MRI scheduled for next Friday.
If it weren't for our medical expenses we'ed be having a nice retirement!
