The Old School House, Madison Ga.

Down the street from the Courthouse in Madison Ga, is an old school house which now is a museum and playhouse. The Kingston Trio played here last October. It is an outstanding example of saving an old building and making adaptive reuse of it.
Upstairs, they had taken one room and restored it with actual furniture from the 1890's, down to the maps on the wall. Notice the pot belly stove. Only thing wrong was the room had air conditioning!

Cooper was allowed to ring the bell for the school, which was a special privilege. I imagine he batted his eyes at the nice lady who was running the show today- Cooper thought that was pretty cool.
