We had gotten all settled in, and finished lunch, when all of a sudden I heard a blood-curdeling scream from Nana, as she discovered we were literally crawling with an ant infestation. We suspect they are imported from Greenwood, as they clearly had been here for a while. Nasty buggers.......I got dispatched down to bubba store to fetch some spray, and we evacuated the 3 big cabinets of food larder, and set them outside to be sorted, trashed, wiped, de-anted, or whatever. Probably a good thing, since it was time to edit the food stash anyway.
Another camping crisis dealth with. At least it wasn't spiders, and it seemed to be confined only to the food cabinets. We hope, anyway, We'll sleep lightly tonight.
Off in a little bit to Augusta for an evening ball game, then tomorrow, we pull up anchor and head on over to Greensboro, Ga. for a five day stay.
