September 24th On down to Austin Tx.

We will head about 213 miles today on down to Austin Tx, the capitol.  We originally were going to stay at a state park, but they kicked us out due to placing survivors from Hurricane Harvey.  So we traded off for another high dollar campground.
Got lots of side trips planned, we will be there for 4 days, then over to College Station!

Arrived by 1130, all set up,  nice concrete pad, level, FHU, cable and pool and store.  Full Sat as well.  Just hot!

Got some things lined up, Texas State Capitol, LBJ Library if open, McKinney Falls State Park, and whatever else comes up.  Bette says we have to hit Wal Mart as well.

213.0 miles, Max speed 68, moving avg 51  Overall avg 37, Fuel consumption 8.0 mpg, 14 gal used, but forgot to reset until about 10 miles into the trip.

Trip report:  wound up getting to state capitol, stamp and pin, McKinney Falls State Park, 5 stamps, and LBJ Library, a stamp.  Also managed to stop by Home Depot and got the goo stuff and a scraper to deal with the 3M mask removal project.  Will do a small spot to see how it works.

Saw 2 new plates today:
