September 1st Off to Boston for Tracy....

First up, the August license plate report:

Fair month for US plates, got all but 4, Wyoming, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii.

OK for Canada as well, with 5 Provinces:

No Mexico plates this month....

Coldest day of the year so far- 46 on wake up.  Only supposed to get to 68 today!  

We will leave at 9 am heading toward Boston, stopping at Assabet River NWR for 5 stamps then to Charlie and Mary Mafeo's for lunch, then pick up Tracy at 418.  Have to fight traffic coming home- should be awful, it being Labor Day Weekend....  least Bette will be driving.  

Update:

Left at 9 am on schedule:  Stop at Assabet River NWR was a bust, due to it being closed, even though the directions had it open.  Man!

We did get to the Mafeos about 1230, chatted for a while, then headed out to a 99 restaurant for a terrific lunch-  

Then back to Charlies, and Tracy was like an hour or so late coming in-  

Then drove home, stopped at a Wendy's for pit stop and something to eat for Tracy, and a drink for us, then hit a bit of traffic on the way home- it is Labor Day weekend anyway, and got back around 7:30 pm.  Chilly night, left heat pump on...  Did Lander grading, then to bed.
