January 18th Beaufort visit the Santa Elena History Center visit

This is a new museum, opened to commemorate the opening of the excavations on Parris Island of the early settlements there, Ft San Marcos and others.

St Augustine may loose its place as the first settlement, have to wait and see- we were 1565- Parris Island was first in 1562.
