We are now tracking contacts with visitors, and I had 102 today in Room 5- plus a couple of hundred at the sallyport desk.

Today, we leave for Beaufort SC for the funeral of one of my BHS classmates son, who was killed in an ATV incident. Be staying with Jane Dowling Fender. Be back Wednesday.
Update, got to Beaufort comfortably- discovered we forgot to pack dress shoes, went to the viewing, literally hundreds of folks there, very emotional for all. Went out to Brick's for dinner, and had the high pleasure of meeting Barry and Kerry Johnson. Had a terrific meal and discussion.
Decided to do some touring locally tomorrow. Will go to the new Santa Helena Museum, plus some sites for the new Reconstruction National Monument sites in town.
