First up, I got over to the Fort Snelling State Park VC, so I could register a visit to the Mississippi River NRRA, making 295/412. I got there right after it opened up at 0800.
Then, back to the Mall of America so we could walk around and get some lunch before the game-
Basically, it is a mall built around a huge entertainment center! Nice lunch at a Philly Cheese Steak place.
Then, on to game 5, Twins vs Red Sox. Jackie Bradley Jr hit a 3 run homer in the first inning, and the Sox prevailed 10-4.
Attendance | 28,633 (73.4% full) - % is based on regular season capacity |
We had tickets for 3rd base side section 327, but they were in the direct sunlight, so we moved to Section 322, and watched from the shade.
Then, we drove about 189 miles down to Marshall Minn, to break up the trip to Omaha. That is tomorrow.
Trip tomorrow is a stop at Pipestone NM, then down to Sioux City Iowa for two stops for trail stamps, then on down to Super 8 in Omaha.
