September 5th Great day in Boston with the Maffaos, then we picked up Tracy.

We left Wells about 11 am, and drove 82 miles to Boston, well Canton Mass, and met up with Charlie and Mary Maffao, our friends from Coquina Crossing at their lovely home.  

We went out to a terrific lunch place, and we split a chicken sandwich-  then we drove into downtown Boston for a tour-  we went to a new place, called Fort Independence, which I had not known about-  Beautiful location-

We walked around, and then got back in the car, and drove through downtown a bit, then back to Canton for some yummy ice cream, then back to the house- we left to pick up Tracy from her train at 128th St Station near Charlie's house, and she got in safely at 718, 17 minutes late.

Then, we came back and sat at Shawn and Trisha's fire until late!  They all were dancing the night away, even Bette.... (YMCA dance, sort of).  they all stayed until past 11 some time!

Tomorrow, we are going to be running around town.
