September 1st Train ride to Boston

Made the 839 train to Boston, easy ride down, landed at North Station, and went to the Orange line, transfered to the Red Line, and went 4 stops down to the JFK Library stop, which was on the bucket list.

The Kennedy Library is now the 11th of the 13 libraries I've been to.  Plan to get the 11th, Bush 43 when we visit Dallas in March, and the Gerald Ford library on this summers baseball trip

Then, I made what turned out to be an ill-fated walk to Quincy Market place.  Turns out I got turned around, and made at least two wrong turns, and wound up walking about 5 miles for what should have been a mile trip.  My bad, but I got my exercise anyway.

Got my missing stamps at Boston NHP, and one for the Boston Harbor Islands Park as well, plus got a Boston Boat, and a pin for JFK.

Got the 5 instead of the 605 train, which was good because I was totally spent!.

Resting today, then riding the train back down Thursday, but taking the trolley to get to where I want to go on that trip!  Need to get to 3 places to get missing stamps.

Boy did I get lost walking around town today!

Back when I was with the Limited, the Quincy Market was one of our hottest markets, now only Victoria's Secret is left.

My oddity for the day, the "Hood Milk Bottle" which is actually a restaurant, had a hot dog and soda there.
