May 21st- I now have 26 of the 30 ACCORD stops recorded.
In two days of touring, I have managed to get 26 of the 30 ACCORD stops. In the next day or so, I'll catch the remaining 4: The Old Woolworth Building, where the first sit-ins were done, the Steps on Gault Street, which is all that remains of a residence that was fire-bombed, 5480 Atlantic View, a house that was shot up by someone who thought Dr King was staying there, and The Saint Johns County Jail Annex, where several of the leaders of the movement were jailed, including Dr. King, Ambassador Andrew Young, and Ms Peabody, the mother of the Governor of Massachusetts. Looking forward to completing the tour, it's been an eye-opener for sure.
