May 13 About 18 miles up the road to Jasper, Florida

I was running a little late and had originally thought I would get to this town and to the town of Jennings as well, but it was getting close to 415- so I decided just to get to Jasper, which is the county seat for Hamilton County Florida.

Uneventful trip up US 41, passing through the waysides of Facil (Spanish for Easy) and Genoa before coming to Jasper.  had three locations here, the Post Office, and two Historical Sites, the United Methodist Church, and then the Old Hamilton County Jail Building.

Found the Methodist Church First:  Well signed on the way into town- part of the Florida Heritage tour stops.

Next was the Jasper Post Office.  A nice old style office, with lots of nice burnished wood inside, but unfortunately I got there 5 minutes late (4:35) and missed the cancellation.

Then it was on to the next stop, the Hamilton County Courthouse-

Just up the street a block or so was the last stop, the Old Hamilton County Jail House

Here are some other scenes of the town from Wiki:  not much to the town actually:

Finished up, stopped at a Subway for a drink, then headed home, getting in about 515.
