April 23- Touring Abbeville and Calhoun Falls

Had a free day today, so I decided to make a tour of neighboring Abbeville and Calhoun Falls, with some other stops thrown in.  Left Saddle Hill and was back by noon with a quick stop for lunch.  

Got to:  The Abbeville Opera House, The Abbeville Court House, Trinity Episcopal Church, a heritage site, the Burke-Starke Mansion, a heritage site, the Long Cane Presbyterian Cemetery, which is a heritage site, and dates from 1760, the Abbeville Post Office, the Abbeville Welcome Center, the David Calhoun Cemetery, a heritage site, the Mt. Carmel Post Office, the Calhoun Falls Post Office, and the scene of a big SLED incident and shootout near Abbeville.  I'll do separate postings about each.
