A revisit to "the scene of the big crime, the 2003 Shootout on Highway 72 in Abbeville

Back in 2003, when I was still on the Sheriff's department, the City of Abbeville and SLED had a very ugly incident involving some sort of anti-government folks over a dispute about some land annexation.  

It resulted in the massing of 200 or so law enforcement people, something like 10,000 rounds of ammunition being fired into the house, and two officers killed.  

Like I said, sort of anti-government types.
