Saturday at the Rally

Woke up fairly early, the day started out as gloomy a bit, overcast and foggy-  but the temps had warmed up to about 59 or so, a marked change from yesterday, when we actually had the heat on in the coach to keep the chill away-

This is a very nice park-  very large, about 400+ sites I would say-  Mostly seasonals, and perhaps quite a few full timers.   Our little rally area holds the 10 units for our club.

We started out the day by meeting with everyone for breakfast at 0900 in the club room, had sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy.   Donated 5.00 to the kitty-  which seemed to be the going rate.

Then sometime after 10, we joined up with Walt and Char (Walt had made a complete recovery thank goodness,) and headed out and about to hit the antique stores around-

We stopped first at and old barn affair, and spent 40 minutes or so-

It was called, rightfully so, the Old Packing House.  Lots of good old things,  Bette found three items that set us back 7.00.

Then we went to some huge place-  Renninger's-  and spend probably 3 hours wandering-  I found 3 pins to buy, 3/5.00!  Got a St Augustine, a Dayton Dragons minor league, and a San Francisco Giants major league.  Score!!

Because we were tired, we wound up not heading to the big Mt Dora art and craft show, just as well, since we came back to the coach and crashed, until we had dinner at 5.  Wound up staying around the tables and swapping stories until 830, then back to bed for the old folks.

Today, we will be over to the clubhouse for breakfast at 0830,, then we will pack the car leisurely then start back up the road to St Augustine, since we need to be back so Bette can go have her mammogram at 0800 on Monday.
