Visit to Florida Military Museum

Up the road a bit in Green Cove Springs is a nice little Military museum that got started in a guy's garage, then outgrew its space and moved to a bigger building.  A group of 9 of us went up this morning to take a tour and then go out to lunch-  One of the fellows with us Mario, is a 90 something guy who parachuted behind the lines on D-Day, got lost from his unit, stole a horse, and rode 12 miles back to rejoin his unit in the thick of a fire fight and lived to tell about it-  a small piece of the museum is dedicated to his unique story, pretty cool
