Acadian Wetlands Culture Museum Revisit

Did a 116 mile roundtrip over to Thibodaux La to revisit the Acadian Wetlands Cultural Center rather than put the miles on the motor home.  Took about 3 hours all told, nice little drive.  I had been here before last year on March 5th when we came to NOLA, but needed to go back so I can get the new issue of Atchafalaya NHA stamps. 

 This is sort of a dual visit, since the museum is actually a part of the Jean Lafitte National Historical park and Preserve-  and they just put at Atchafalaya Stamp there. 

Nice Museum that tells the Acadian story about the Louisiana countryside and their rich heritage here. 

Got the stamp. 

Got back to the coach at about 1115, and will rest the rest of the day.  Tomorrow, we are off to Baton Rouge and Lafayette.  Maybe will take a trip to Eunice also.
