Bette and I discussed our travel plans for this and next year, and as always, they will change.
We have now decided to go ahead and use the motor home for our trip to Missouri, and then not do the Charleston/Myrtle Beach trip- we'll also head to Maine as planned from Missouri, but not visit with South Carolina along the way.
This way, I'll be able to knock out several National Parks and Ball fields along the way-
Looks like we'll be leaving St Augustine about mid May to start to make our way over to Missouri in time for the reunion which will be July 6th.
We have also rethunk our 2014 plans-and for now, it looks like we will go ahead and do the major west coast swing we had thought about 2 years ago- this will be a massive trip, sort of a grand catch all to get to all the places we have never been to.
To do that, we will leave in early February, basically heading back out to Arizona for Feb/March as we did 2 years ago, then to California, then Oregon, Washington State, then work our way back across the Northern tier over to Maine for the summer, then back home.
