Busy vacation day!

Woke up at 0600 to get on line at 0700 for the service appt for the coach-  Will came out to the coach at about 0830- and by that time, we had decided we were going to try to get to Orlando Thousand Trails tonight if we could get the coach back- 

Well, we edited the list a bit to just the batteries-  which of course, it turned out they didn't have in stock.  No worries, the Interstate Battery truck was due in at 1- and sure enough, they did come in. 

By this time, we were getting reports from the gang, who decided to go to Universal Studios rather than Disney, that they were/are having a blast-  actually, as I type this at 1830, they are still there-  Glad they are totally enjoying it. Big and little kids!!!

Getting soaked at the ride!!!

The repairs were done by 330, with Will the service writer jumping in to help, since they were short 4 techs today- Monday and all-  he also cleaned up the battery tray, spray painted it, and now it looks all spiffy, and we also discovered that previously, someone who had worked on the coach had miswired it, so that they weren't "in a circle", which would go a long way to explain the gremlins we had been experiencing with the electrical systems in this coach for the last two years.  We are totally happy campers.  

Then, we headed about 40 miles down the road to Thousand Trails Orlando, where we got a nice spot next to a bath house (yea!)  We'll stay here tomorrow night, then Wednesday, Tracy needs to catch a plane back up to New Jersey, and we will head back to St Augustine. 

We're in space G-45-  good tv, full hookup, level, and right next to the bathhouse-  we are in the middle of a big Carriage rally, which is 5th wheelers-  They must all be out at Disney or something-
