We thought we were headed to Prosperity today to have a visit with old Newberry County friends, but Megan called, and her household is very sick with a bad stomach flu type virus, so we opted not to go.
Tony is on the way to Morganton NC to pick up his daughter Amanda, and bring her back to Saddle Hill for a Christmas visit-
The construction team is here, and working hard- as we speak, the kitchen is getting its coat of paint, the chair rails are going back up in the dining room, the wall paper removal is starting in the living room, and the upstairs bathroom is getting its final coat of paint and mudding.
Jimmy was hoping they would pretty much finish out the dining room, kitchen, living room, and bathrooms this week, before taking a break for the holidays, then he'll be back after the first of the year to knock out the master bedroom and bath.
Lots of rain yesterday, rained all day actually- cloudy and misty today-
Boys have two more days of school left, then their holiday.
