We got word Saturday afternoon that Brandon's good buddy Sam, who was a passenger in a car driven by another teenager was involved in a wreck where the car left the road due to "the brakes failing." The young driver got a ticket for too fast for conditions. Sam wasn't wearing a seat belt, and in the back seat, and as a result, had a pretty severe elbow break, as you can see from his new titanium ardware he is now wearing. They said he had a good prognosis, thank goodness, but I suspect his year of soccer is on the side, if he ever even plays again.
Brandon swears he is a safe driver- hate to be a doubting grandfather!!! Glad he's been accident free so far, well, if you discount where he drove into the garage and did 1200 worth of damage.......
