Pond stuff

Been enjoying on the whole a pretty good weather week so far this week-bit of rain overnight, but nice sunny days- 

We saw our first gator of the season-  a fair sized fellow-

We don't normally see turtles out on the bank, but this fellow decided to sun himself for a bit, but took off like a shot when Bette went out to get a close up...

Then there was this poor ugly bird.  Such grace, but not a pretty face!

We are in the pre-pack stage for our trip to South Carolina, for which we will leave here on Friday morning.  We'll be up there for 9 days-  during which, we will have some choices to make on some planned housework upgrades for the Saddle Hill property-  Bette plans to spend time with Bev and Dave doing play things, I have some Lander stuff to do- and of course family time.  

Had a rough visit yesterday at PT-  seems I may have slept wrong, and my neck was all messed up- so we spent an hour on that instead of my shoulders-plus my back is hurting too.  Man. 
I plan to stop in at Dr Brian's to see about upgrading the pain meds, and see what we do next-  MRI's- plus another sleep study has to be scheduled.
