Bad transfer switch

Seems the power transfer switch is bad in the coach-  this was the same switch we had problem with back in June, and almost had the big fire in the coach-  It was replaced June 25th up in Vermont at Pete's.

So now, we are waiting while Coach Care is in touch with the warranty company and Pete's to see what to do-  We did get the oil changed, so that is done.

What I'm guessing will happen is that we will now go down to DC Metro and instead of boondocking as we had planned, we will now to to Prince William Forest Park, which we have used before, and stay there for the Metro DC stay.

It appears we are ok as long as we are plugged in, just can't use the generator for boondocking stays-  Not sure how that will effect the rest of the trip, either we get it fixed if we can, or just wait until we get home to Florida maybe-  have to see.

Another bump in the road.

Update:  Pete's says it's been after 30 days, no further guarantee-
The Warranty company says they won't pay for an additional repair within 30 days.

So its a 500 dollar repair on us.  At least, they now say they can fix it here, and the part will be here tomorrow morning-  so at least it will be fixed, in a good shop-

Our schedule will be impacted some-  lose today of course, and half of tomorrow, so we are now a day and a half behind-

Anticipate that Bette will put the squeeze on for moving along and editing the trip-  which I will resist pretty much-  I may agree to drop Charleston off, since I can do that over the Christmas holiday with Cooper.

Looks like I may do 3-4 days in Metro DC-  and get the area approached from the lower Va side instead of the Maryland side, since we will now have to stay at Prince William down in Dumphries......
