Tore through N Jersey today and 2 Baseball Sites!

Good thing I knocked off Trenton yesterday, that gave me more time to get to North Jersey today, and the traffic gods were with me, I passed like 4 major traffic jams going the other way today- had smooth sailing.

Started off with a stop in downtown Newark NJ for a visit to the Riverside Stadium for the Newark Bears...  The boys were out of town, and I wasn't able to get any body on the phone, but I managed not only to get in, but got a free logo ball to boot, so it was a good visit!

From there, I scooted over to West Orange, and did the Thomas Edison Laboratory and also Glenmont, his home.   I'll do a seperate posting on that.

Then up to Little Falls, NJ, to Yogi Berra Stadium, on the campus of Montclair State Univ, to I could get to a bonus stop for the day, the New Jersey Jackals-  they too were out of town, but a nice young man opened up the shop for me and I got a ball and pin.

From there, short trip over to Paterson NJ, to the brand new Paterson Great Falls Park, and got two stamps there, do a seperate posting for that, and then lastly, went on over to Morristown NHP for a revisit there, and got to the Jockey Hollow part of the park this time.  Do a seperate post there too.

Rushing a bit, since we are hooking up with the Van Praghs and Helen for dinner in a few minutes.  Post later tonight.

Tomorrow is a train ride into NYC and a meet up with 4 or 5 other members of my Stamping Club for the National Parks...
