Quick lunch trip down to Portsmouth today

Rained most of the night last night and was sprinkling early this morning, we slept in until about 830....

Decided to run down Rt 1 to Portsmouth, stopped in at the Kittery Discount Mall stores, and found a couple of goodies for friends, then hit Portsmouth.

The city has really done a nice job of fixing up its downtown core- Lots of nice shops, plenty of inexpensive parking, tons and tons of eating places, and they encourage an outdoor bistro vibe.  The smells were delicious!!  Didn't take the boat tour this year, have to put that on the list for next year. 

Be planning Cape Cod the rest of the day- that will be a busy visit.
