then quickly headed on over to Springfield Mass, so we could get to the Springfield Armory.
Bit dicey getting into here, its a big quadrangle of buildings, very poorly signed, and we had to stop a lawman to see where to go, wound up parking on the side at the bottom of the aerial, then walking to the actual Visitors Center, which is the grey roofed building at the bottom left of the photo, then we had to snake the coach around a narrow one way street back around the Quad, then out again. Got all 5 stamps here....
Then, we were off to Wilton Conn, so I could go to Weir Farms NHS, which was good for only one stamp, fortunately we unhooked at a Wal Mart and I drove the Fit into here, man it was tight, and would have never accomodated the motor home. Good call, Jim....
I was able to run about 5 miles up the road and get a ball and pin for the Hudson River Valley Renegades, the Short Season Class A for the Tampa Bay Rays, they are tearing it up this season, playing 22 games above 500 ball... Wow.
