Easing on back into the St Augustine Routine

After a couple of busy days unloading, going back to my morning coffee club, and running to the various local stores for craft stuff, and groceries, we are easing back into our Florida routine.

Part of that is a Saturday morning visit to the St John's flea market, which we did this morning, and wow, what changes!  Seems there is a new owner now, and he is setting about redoing the place, and actually upgrading it somewhat. The place is much cleaner, has many different vendors than it used to, and there is lots of changes to be coming it is evident.

We found a few items, several baskets, a hanging basket for our fruit, and Bette got a book.  We had our ritual hot dog, from a new vendor who was glad to see us and knew all about Flo's Hot Dogs up in Maine!  We'll have to bring back some of her secret sauce when we get back next fall.

The Lander College Bearcat soccer teams are headed to town this afternoon to play Flagler College Saints, so I'll be heading out to Saints Field for that contest, the women play at 5 and the men right after. I have 3 women as students this year, and not sure about the men.

Our lawn guy came today, so we are now all weeded and spiffy.

Spoke to Dan and Kippy a short while ago, they are still in Berlin Ohio, and will be home in a couple of weeks.  We're planning on joining them for a longer stay next year off the big trip- We stayed a week this time.

This next week will be the huge garage sale here at Coquina, so Bette will be busy with that.  In November, they have a big craft sale, so she is making some items to try to sell for that also.

Weather moderated today, and it is supposed to be almost 20 degrees cooler!  It was 93 yesterday...  74 right now.

I'll be posting some trip highlights from this summer's trip in the next couple of days...
