We sort of took the day off for most of the day today, then Brandon and I headed a few miles up the road to the game with the Beloit Snappers and the Kane County Cougars... We only lasted 2 innings, Brandon was bored, and it was hot, hot, hot. So, we bailed from that game, and made our way a few miles down the road to the stadium for the Rockford, Ill. RiverHawks. We managed to get into the store for a ball, but they didn't have a pin. Neither did Beloit have a pin. But we did get a ball there too.
Tomorrow is a big day, we are heading into Chicago downtown and then have tickets for a White Sox/Yankees game.
Pohlman Field, which is an old old stadium... Sits only 3100. There were about 120 fans there tonight...
Beautiful new stadium for the Rockford River Hawks.. There were a couple of thousand here for this game....
