Only had about 60 miles today; we started out by going back to Billion Cheverolet, so we could revisit them about the running lights not working.. turns out it was 2 15 amp breakers that had shorted out in the coach, so we got that all fixed up, and now we have running lights again!
Then a short 15 mile trip over to the Herbert Hoover National Historical Site in West Branch, Iowa... nice little visit there, saw the movie, got a pin, stamps and postcard.
Then we headed to our spot for the next three days, Clark's Ferry, near the Quad Cities of Iowa/Illinois. We have a typical COE site, concrete pad, 50 amp, no water, but we are right next to the wash room.
We are next to a water supply, so Bette filled up the water tank- so we're good to go. It looks like we might be in for some rain soon. We are right on the banks of the Mississippi River, and there has been some flooding here recently, about half the park is closed... We're on the back row, right next to a 6 track railroad!
Tonight, Brandon and I are heading over to Davenport to take in a Quad Cities River Bandits baseball game- they are the A level team for the Cardinals. They have a beautiful stadium right on the river.
