We got up early, and by 0800, we were on our way down US 191 to West Yellowstone, Montana. We had traveled this route before, in 2007, only reversing the route.
It was just 89 miles today, so we got there early, about 10. The check in time was 11, so we had to park in the holding lot until the folks who were in our spot vacated.
We took the opportunity to run the 11 miles into the town of West Yellowstone, and check out the Grizzly and Wolf center, grab some early lunch at a very overpriced Subway, and scope out the IMAX theater.
We got back to Yellowstone Adventure, and got our spot, and got all set up. This is a very nice campground. Level gravel, 50 amp, good tv, and right next to the office/laundry/restroom/shower. We are right on a lake, with mountain views.
We'll be here for 7 nights!
Brandon and I are on our way into town to catch 3 IMAX movies, then back to the coach for dinner.
