Back on the road again, third time across the Mississippi River is the Charm we hope

The coach was ready at 3.  We paid the bill, and loaded up the fresh water tank, and up the road we went.  the same road we went down, back up, and then down again in the last 48 hours!  We crossed the same bridge over the Mississippi River for the third time-  Bette snapped some photos of the River as it looked, way way out of its banks:

We saw lots of similar scenes of high water along the road today.
Speaking of today, we left Union City Tennessee, and headed over to Hayti Missouri, fueled up at Pilot (4.09), then drove up to Perryville, Missouri, which is about 90 miles or so from St Louis, our next target.

We decided to not head to southern Missouri, due to the flooding conditions, so that means I'll miss Ozark NSR and also a couple of other parks, GW Carver, Wilson's Creek, and also Springfield Cardinals baseball.

On the up side, we used to live in St Louis, and Sherry and Fred's great friends Peter and Debs live there and have a wonderful book store... they are some of our favorite folks we have met in our travels, and we're looking forward to visiting and seeing the new store.

As of now, we're going to head for a State park in Chesterfield, Mo, which is where we used to live- and spend 2 or 3 days there. We need calm and relaxation!

While in St Louis, in addition to the Herringtons, there are a couple of baseball clubs, and several other spots to visit.

Our next series of reservations begins May 4th at Independence Missouri for 4 days.

Feeling really good that the motor home is fixed, and we should be trouble free.  The dashboard doesn't look like a Christmas tree with all the warning lights.

Here is what we did today:

According to the Garmin, we did 174.8 Miles today, Averaging 55.4 miles per hour, mostly Interstate, max speed was 65.8, Total time on the road was 3:33, with a 23 minute fuel stop.
