Bubba, our 6 foot or so gator, has been visiting just about daily for the last week or so.
Never bothers anyone, suns himself most of the day, leisurely swims back through the culvert just before dark.
Apparantly, there is a policy here that gators are a nusance, so the wranglers came today and snatched Bubba up.
In short order, he was captured, painlessly, as I watched.
I yelled over to them that there was also another hanging out, and I asked them, expecting the answer that he was just going to be relocated, but I was told he was on his way to the processor. That sucks. I thought gators were sort of endangered, but doesn't seem to be the case. Off he went, never to be heard from again. Not happy about this news. Bye Bubba........
