The crowd was announced at about 6000, it was not a sell out. There were three home runs today, one of them a huge shot of about 420 feet.
Didn't see a lot of the starters today- mostly fellows they wanted to take a look at. The crowd was decidedly pro-Tigers- lots of folks from Michigan around- Had a Chick Fil A for lunch, the guys had sausage sandwiches. After the game, we went to Sticky Bones, I had minis, they had pork and chicken.
Back to the room, went to the hottub, and will be crashing soon.
The fellow at the right we were told is Al Kaline, the legendary player for Detroit. We were told by a local that he sits in his same box for most every game- Pretty sure it was him. He was sitting by himself.
Tomorrow is a trip to George Steinbrenner field in Tampa, for a game between the Yankess and the Washington Nationals. Thinking there will be lots of fans there for that game.
