Carpets get cleaned, PT for shoulder, busy week......

Bette noticed the Stanley Steamer guys across the street at a neighbors house, so that got them a call to come over and give 3 rooms a good cleaning, which was a good thing.  We've got a new piece of furniture arriving today, so the living room is now all spiffy awaiting its arrival. Also got the river room and the bedroom all spruced up.

I had my first session at Physical Therapy Monday afternoon- wow- they really know what they are doing, and had the diagnosis 100% right.  After the one treatment, I can raise my arm back almost straight up, and have about a 50% improvement in my range of motion.  They did some electronic stimulation, put on a cortisone patch, and I did two sets of exercises.  Still stiff, but it's apparently working itself out.  I apparently got to it in good time, before it got really messed up.  She thinks its from "hunching over my laptop" Probably right.

Busy week for the rest of the week- today, I do my volunteer work driving the bus for the care group, tomorrow is lunch with the Schmidts at Applebees, Friday we're headed down to the Golden Lion for Dan Kingston's Happy Birthday lunch, and Friday night is Bingo.  There's also the county fair this week.  We've got the new entertainment center being delivered today, and we're moving some furniture around, and we have a phase two construction project on the baseball display going on in the river room.  Busy Busy!

I spent a lot of time this week sprucing up the travel plans for next year-  It will be our great Pacific Northwest trip, a big one, with lots of states to visit, lots of National Parks to see, and lots of ballgames to go to.  We think in 2012, we'll head back up to New England, then in 2013, back out to the desert southwest, to get those areas off the National Parks list-  We could easily spend 5 months just in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Eastern Colorado.  There are 2 more major trips planned after that, one in the upper middle mid west, and one in the central states, and that will pretty much knock out the lower 48 state tours.  After that, back and forth to New England will be fine with me.
