Twins, we had twins!

Right on schedule, our butterflies sprang to life this morning, and we had twins!  They stayed clinging to the plant for about a couple of hours, then off they went to begin their lives, which I believe is not too long- have to read up on that part-  it was interesting to see.

Had a busy day today, we had our follow up visits today with Dr Raymaker, and both of us got gold stars for our performances.  I came off two more meds, and Bette has lost 13 lbs on her program too.  She has a nuclear xray this Friday for follow up to check out some minor abnormalities in her blood work, but nothing the doctor is overly concerned about, and she feels fine, so we're not concerned.  She has taken up water aerobics since returning, along with getting back to playing tennis with the old guys, they say she has happy feet, so our exercise regimens are in good order on our return to Florida.  She also starts back with her mah johng classes starting tomorrow and has a new group, the Stitch and Bitch group of gals who get together and hook rugs, I gather.

I picked up two large shadow boxes today and reworked the pin collection, and consolidated several smaller frames into just two shadow boxes- so that is good, and I'm going back to get one more to house the National Park pin collection, and then we'll be pretty settled on how to finally, finally dispay the pin collection- shadow boxes are the answer!  We have about 400 of them now-

The tile boys are scheduled to return in the morning to start the kitchen floor, the laundry room redo, relocate the hot water heater out to the garage, to fix a bad design problem, as the hot water heater currently resides in our bedroom closet- and they will wind up enlarging our closet and redoing it as a result of that project-  Bette is also thinking about possibly redoing the shower in our master bathroom, so we'll see about that.  They also are going to redo the guest bathroom in tile.  Think that should just about hold us as far as house projects are concerned for a while.  Photos to follow as work progresses.

Still noodling out what to do about taking a mini trip towards the end of the month somewhere. They called today about the motor home, but weren't sure how long they were going to keep it- I'm supposed to talk to the actual dude about it tomorrow sometime after he sees about how long it will take to get a part in he needs-  We may just do a shorter driving trip instead of taking the motor home out for a week or so- we'll see.  If we drive, think we'll just go up and do the Georgia seacoast, up to Brunswick, and knock out the 4 National Parks we haven't seen there.  Pretty sure that's what we'll wind up doing.

Made arrangements today for Wednesday dinner with the Kingstons, and we also agreed to do at least two of the nice EMMA concerts this season, a Broadway Show Tune/Dance review in October, and the Jacksonville Symphony Pops Christmas concert in December.  That will be fun.

There is a big RV show down in Daytona Beach this weekend, think we'll shoot down there Saturday, and take in the huge Daytona Flea Market, and then stop by the Golden Lion on our way back in Flagler Beach.  That sounds like a nice weekend.
