Trip planning and Professorial work

Spent the holiday today being very productive.  I did a lot of planning and noodling for our next years trips, and there was a lot of activity in my classes today for Lander.

I made our reservations for our February California trip, we'll be flying into San Francisco, then spend three days there, then get down to LA either by plane or train, spend a couple of days there, then 5 days with Mom in Carlsbad, then fly back from San Diego.  Sweet!

Worked on lots of details for the first couple of months for the motor home trip in May/June, it's working out very nicely- lots of National Parks, baseball venues, and family in New Jersey.

Tony and Tina had a large group of friends over for a lot of the day for a cookout/swim party.  We grilled a nice London broil and also some chicken breasts for salads for the next few days.  It was a very nice day today, not much humidity.

Lander was moderately busy today, kids did have school, no holiday-
got a few submissions to grade and post, and one draft of a paper to correct and return.

Watching Boise State/VaTech game, wow, good football.

Not too much planned until we leave Friday for Florida, I'll work on travel plans and school and packing for the trip down.
