Last stop for the day was a cab ride from Battery Park uptown a fair way over to 12th and Broadway to Strand Books.  Strand wasn't on the original agenda, but we were running ahead of schedule, so Tracy and I decided to head on over.  Spent about an hour, Tracy got 2 books, I didn't get any.  They have done lots of work on the store interior since my last visit, to the better in my mind.  One improvement, you now don't have to check your bookbag as you enter.
