After our stop at Murfreesboro, we got encamped at J Percy Priest Lake COE, the headed on over to check out the Hermitage, the residence of President Andrew Jackson. It was expensive to tour, 28 dollars for the three of us, but it is a very impressive house. President Jackson was a wealthy man in his day, and his home reflected his standing. He and his beloved wife, Rachel, are buried at the mansion site, and their tomb is the bottom photo.
