We started off by driving about 110 miles or so down towards Tupelo Mississippi, first stop was Brice's Crossroads National Military Battlefield which is actually in Baldwin, Miss, about 17 Miles north of Tupelo. Cooper watched a 22 minute movie while Dante and Bette drove through the battlefield. We then drove off in search of Tupelo National Battlefield, found it by GPS, but it was only a marker- the battlefield was nowhere to be found. We then discovered that there was a central visitors center at the Natchez Trace Parkway National Headquarters, so as a bonus, we added that third park to our visit for the day. Got stamps, pins and patches at all three locations. Woopee!
