First stop today was Faneuil Hall, Boston, which dates way back to the early 1700's. It was originally a true meeting place, and today is the centerpiece of a big urban renewal downtown Boston project. I remember being here in the lower 80's when the Limited Stores were an active part of the the mall, but today, I could only find a Victoria's Secret store. The place was jammed with tourists, spending huge amounts of money, and it is truly a wonderful place to eat, shop, and visit. there is a vast array of shopping choices. I went up and across the street to the Boston National Park headquarters, and got a pin and my Passport stamped. Boston has a neat system here where they paint a red stripe painted on the street for tourists to follow- The "Freedom Trail" So off on the trail I went, headed for the boat landing to take a cruise up the river to my next stop, CharlesTown Navy Yard.
