While I was at Kingston, I realized that Newport, RI was just a few miles away, I had thought I would have had to drive all the way back to Providence, then around and down to Newport, but not the case... Connected by bridges- Found downtown Newport, and it is way cool- Heaps of cool shops, scenery, eating places- I will take Bette back tomorrow or Tuesday for sure. I didn't go to the big mansions on Ocean drive, that tour is like $60 to do.
Got back home around 5. Perfect day of touring- Bette stayed back to do laundry, and clean. Or sleep.
