After Pedro's, we chugged down US 74 and hit Wilmington, NC. We scratched around a bit to find a Day's Inn to park at, the Hartman's got a room, and we luckily headed for the back parking lot, and got a good space. When we returned 7 hours later, the lot was jammed.
We headed over to Mary Alice and Skip Hinshaws beautiful home, and were welcomed with open arms. We went out for a boat ride down the Intercoastal, and got to see some of the magnificent homes that line the waterway. Wow... Then we got to see some of the fabulous yachts that call the Wilmington area home. Wow. Then, we got back to the Hinshaw home, and had a fabulous NC pork barbeque dinner, with ribs too. It was too too fabulous.
They wanted to come back and take a peek at the motor home, so we showed them that. It was the end of just a fabulous day.
We're pulling out early tomorrow to head over to Cedar Island, NC to take a ferry ride over to the Outer Banks.
