When we visited Dr. Fred and Sherry this summer, we lusted after their 20x lightweight slr digitial camera. We already had a perfectly good Canon sure shot, so the rule was adopted that it had to fail first before we would consider replacement. Well, sure enough, that one failed, (the view screen cracked), so thanks to Amazon, we have a spiffy SX20IS. It is not the exact model they had, in that this one has a flip open view finder, but other than that, has the same features we admired in Missouri. Took it out for its maiden voyage yesterday, and it is fun to use. It will come in handy for the various wildlife shots around the house. Got it on sale, also, so feeling pretty smug just now.
