For dinner tonight, we went over to Mig's and met up with our super pals Bev and Dave. Spent a long hour catching up and talking junk. We love you, guys!
We started off the day with a nice breakfast at Cracker Barrel with Tina and Tony.. It was cold and rainy this morning so it was good to start the day off with a good hot meal..
The real treat for the day was an almost 2 hour long Skype conversation with my Aussie Pal, Gazza. It was 1:30 in the afternooon here, but 1:30 in the morning where Gazza is in Perth Australia. We talked about their impending visit next spring, and what we thought we might like to do or not do. Came up with a new plan, as we always do- we've revised our plans about 20 times so far, and I'm sure we will be revising them up to the time they arrive! They are due into Jacksonville about the 28th of April next year.
BTW Gazza, I spent about four hours reworking the US trip for after our call tonight, and I think we will still leave from Florida to make our way over to Australia next September/October. Bette wants Buster to be properly baby sat and will not agree to having him put in a kennel out in California. I reworked the trip so it looks like we would arrive back in Florida around Labor Day or so, and then we could take off for Perth on say September 20th? Lots of time to discuss that too, before we decide.
I am up now late almost to 1 am watching the Yankees try to beat the Angels.....
