We got back to Greenwood on Monday, unloaded the coach, and then crashed. Today, I took the Malibu to the Firestone place to have the tires balanced, rotated, and did a "lifetime" wheel alignment. Firestone here locally is very good- They didn't try to force me to buy new tires, or anything else, and did good work quickly. The manager and the service manager, his brother, are both from Jersey, so we get along fine!!! They used to live just up the road from us.. and are true Jerseyites. Actually, they are from Queens, NY.
I also went for a month follow up visit to the eye doctor today, and my vision is actually getting somewhat better. He gave me two sets of drops to combat the dryeye and itchiness I've been feeling, and said he will see me in six months.
Lots and lots of rain in the last two days, and no sign of leaking in the coach, so we have our fingers crossed.
Cooper has been lobbying for me to take him to Carowinds this weekend, we'll see. Brandon I think has a trip with some of his buddies planned. I had thought about maybe going to the State Fair, but we have rethought that.
We had a fabulous trip to Beaufort for the reunion, and saw lots of old pals, and some we hadn't seen for 45 years! All attending seemed to be in reasonably good health, and we are all anxiously looking forward to the next reunion, which will be our 50th!
